Whereas, the family is the most basic and important building block of our society, and Your Organization Here has been instrumental in promoting family values and the benefits of marriage in [name of city, county or state], and 

Whereas, Your Organization Here has joined with Wedded Bliss Foundation, Inc., in a national celebration of marriage on Black Marriage Day 2023, Sunday, March 26, 2023, with the theme: Marriage Changes Things;  

Whereas, [name of city, county or state] wishes to recognize Your Organization Here for their marriage strengthening initiatives which include: 1)Name of Activity, 2)Name of Activity, 3)Name of Activity; and

Whereas, [name of city, county or state] recognizes that ongoing marriage strengthening and preparation for healthy and happy marriages is necessary for our community’s continued growth; 
Now, therefore be it resolved that [name of city, county or state] proudly declares Sunday, March 26, 2023 as Black Marriage Day 2022 and

Be it further resolved that [name of city, county or state] agrees to continue support for marriage strengthening programs in our community.
